Kitchen Makeovers

Upgrade your Kitchen.

If your kitchen cabinets are in good enough condition and you are happy with the general layout of your existing kitchen, then one of our kitchen makeovers could be the perfect solution for you.

A makeover is a fast, relatively hassle free and cost effective solution to refreshing your kitchen. Most clients are looking to replace the door and drawer fronts and associated panels and trims to give their kitchen a brand new look.

Changing the kitchen cupboard doors can have a big impact. Invite us around, and we can have a look at the carcas to see if it is possible in your case and to look at the options

Once we work out whether the existing kitchen is suitable for new doors, we have a wide range available to choose from.

Different profiles and finishes can be combined to match your appliances, the overall look and feel of the kitchen.

We manage the delivery and installation with as little disruption as possible, our attention to detail will make all the difference.

There are many different types of kitchen worktops available and we can guide you through the choice of surface for your new kitchen.

Budget plays an important part in any kitchen project, and it is good to know that quartz, granite or acrylic worktop surfaces are comparable in cost at the high end. Laminates, on the other hand, are much cheaper to buy. This decision can have a major impact on the overall cost of the kitchen project.

Limitations of  kitchen makeovers

If you are not happy with the current layout and need to move the location of appliances around then in most cases it’s a new design you’ll need, but speak to us first as we will be happy to advise you on your options. Remember that with a kitchen makeover we are putting new material onto old therefore the margins for exactness have to be increased. Over time your old kitchen will probably have moved and distorted in shape slightly. This means base units and wall units may now not be perfectly level and run out of line and this can bring its own set of challenges for our fitters when putting perfectly flat worktops or wall trims (cornice/pelmet) onto imperfectly flat existing furniture. If we envisage that we cannot achieve an acceptable finish then it is not a service we would offer, however, as a customer you need to be informed and mindful of the challenges the fitters may come up against. It’s very rare we have any issues but if its perfection you are seeking or insist upon then you consider a brand new kitchen instead.

Conclusion

If you are looking to refresh the look of your kitchen in the fastest possible way then a kitchen makeover is a cost effective and relatively hassle free route to achieving this. As a local company we are always looking to add as much value to our service as possible so you can be assured that when we visit you to provide a quote for a kitchen makeover we will be looking for opportunities to improve your existing kitchen beyond just supplying doors in order for us to maximise the value of your purchase. We care about what we do and always strive to provide the highest level of customer service.

For the kitchen makeover service we offer a free, no obligation home visit where we will visit your home, asses your requirements and leave you with a cost estimate for the service, this can take 1-2 hours to complete. There is no hard sell! We are strongly against this type of selling; all we ask in return is that you are courteous enough to let us know via a phone call or email if you do not wish to take the service any further. We will not hassle you with phone calls but we do need to understand your position and this is all we ask for in return for our free time and advice – we think that’s fair enough.

How much does the service cost?

The cost of a kitchen makeover can vary greatly as all kitchens are different and the quantity of services required varies from project to project. Most projects normally fall within the £4-8k price bracket, and this would be for the full service – doors, panels etc., worktops, sink, tap, hob, wall tiling, a couple of new cabinets and fitting. You also can be absolutely guaranteed a far better service, we are confident to say this and our Which? Review site confirms this statement:
